mIRC :: mIRC COLOURS

[mirc]

To make colors in mIRC hold down the CTRL key while pressing K, and then let go of the CTRL key and type a number between 1 and 15. The colors are as follows: CTRL K +

0-White, 1-Black, 2-Navy, 3-Green, 4-Red, 5-Maroon, 6-Purple, 7-Olive, 8-Yellow 9-Lime, 10-Teal, 11-Aqua, 12-Blue, 13-Fuchsia, 14-Gray, 15-Silver

The color of the background can also be changed, by putting a comma after the number for the color of the text, and inserting the number for the color of the background. For example, this is what happens when you do CTRL K + 0,4. [Fig.1] (Colored backgrounds were used in some of my examples, with colors which don't show up well on white.)

Unfortunately, these colors appear only as Codes to other IRC clients, so please use them sparingly. (You can check what clients people are using via the "CTCP > Version" command)

For further information, and the use of colours in pop-ups have a look at;
IRC POPUPS - II. COLOUR
