Let's get some Gold!! into the program;

Eureka 150

GAME - GOLD RUSH
Make gold nuggets by painting small stones with gold paint. Hide the nuggets outside the hall. Send the cubs out to find the gold.
Do the cubs have a gold licence? Are there bushrangers in the area?

ACTIVTY - Gold Fields
Time to test those pioneering skills, can you make a miners tent from a handkerchief, 5 wooden chopsticks and some string? Can you make a poppet head from icypole sticks? How about a windlass from a cotton reel?

ACTIVTY - Act out the Eureka Stockade

Visiting a gold fields recreation/historical site is a great way to get GOLD in the program.
