2nd Asia-Pacific Air-Internet Jamboree

6 - 7 August 2005

Of the 28 million Scouts in the World, 17 Million are in the Asia-Pacific! Join with us over one amazing weekend as we share the spirit and goodwill of Scouting.

The Air-Internet Jamboree is an Asia Pacific Regional event in which all Youth Members and Leaders can contact each other by amateur radio and the internet. It's the excitement of having a live conversation with a fellow Scout at some other place in the World. The Air-Internet Jamboree is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged, ideas shared and participants gain a sense of the world-wide movement to which they belong. What a great opportunity, especially as it is held close to World Scout day.

You may participate for all or any part of the 48 hours of the weekend 6 – 7 August 2005 from 00:01 am Saturday morning until 23:59 pm Sunday night.

Those using amateur radio, especially the internet program Echolink, on that weekend may also have the opportunity to contact the Scout amateur stations at Eurojam and Brownsea Island. The Eurojam station is being organised by dynamic UK Leaders Alan and Barbara Wilson whom you may have met in the amateur radio station at AJ2004.
