Wow! Maybe he thinks he's a panda bear!

Xian was a very interesting place where we learnt a lot about Chinese
history and culture. My head is still reeling trying to take everything in.
The terracotta warriors were terrific to see - so many of them. The digs were
amazing to see - we have taken lots of photos for you. We are now in Beijing.
Today we went to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. We also went to the
Zoo to see the Pandas. A keeper told our guide that a baby panda was born
yesterday, but is not on view

GCA209 -
Tiananmen by Steve (Licorice)
A virtual cache at Tiananmen Square, Beijing, China
Tiananmen is the world's largest largest square, but most people know of it
due to the events that occurred in 1989 where PLA tanks and solders opened
fire on pro-democracy demonstrators. Nowadays, people wonder throughout the
square flying kites and socializing.
Since most of Tiananmen is tiled, there is no place to hide a cache, so a
virtual one has been placed here instead. To score a find for this cache,
locate the tile at the cache position above and have someone take a picture
of yourself and your GPS clearly visible and upload it with your log.
To prove that you were at Tiananmen, you should stand infront of the
monument located to the south.

Hi guys, here I am at Tiananmen.
Can't see the GPS, but *the Bear is there!*

A message from i! Geoffrey to Kira and Liam (via Grumps);
Well some of the ELTHAM Mob have made it to China to visit with me,
and I have had a lot of fun looking at all the sites and toys !!
We went to a place called Xian it had lots of toy soldiers burried in the ground,
they would not let us play with them, they also had horses and SWORDS but we were
not allowed to touch them.
We later went to a building which had many old cooking things stored away for people
to look at there were jugs, pots and pans they would be very good for your cubby house!!
but they were very dirty and some were broken just like the ones Liam has?
The people here speak funny and sometime you do not know what they say?
We then went on a plane and ended up in a place called beijing, they speak funny here to !
We went to the zoo and saw a PANDA bear it was very hot and puffing a lot!!,
so we left and went to a big park with boats and things, it was much cooler there.
That evening we went to a place to eat and had a peeking duck ?? it was very skinny and
the skin was very crip and fatty !! it was they made int a little bowl of soup, but
I did not see the duck peek ??
I will send you some photo's of our holiday tomorrow
