Every room will be equipped with an overhead projector. Apart from that, a limited number of data projectors, slide projectors, video and audio equipment may be available. If you need to use these or any other kind of equipment for your presentation, and would like the Local Organisers to provide it, please complete the Equipment Request Form. Send the form together with the corresponding proposal form.
If you intend to use a computer, we normally expect you to bring your own laptop, and inform us what kind of computer you have. Internet connection during presentations will not be guaranteed.
Only a few computers (PC) can be available for presenters who do not have their own laptop. Confirmation of the availability of your requested equipment will be sent by May 2005. There is a form to request equipment or you can do so directly from http://igpme.org/forms/equipment.html. Please note that on-site booking of equipment will not be possible.
Australia operates on a 240 volt system (50 Hz) with 2 or 3 flat pin sockets, as shown below. We recommend that you bring electrical plug adapters and transformers. All travellers except those from New Zealand and some Asia-Pacific countries will need an adaptor for electrical appliances.
